Come celebrate Mother’s Day Eve with an afternoon of creativity, community, and connection. A fun way to celebrate yourself, your mom, kiddo, grandma, partner, bestie, or (well behaved) pup—the goal is to make something beautiful and extraordinary together.

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make a sustainable flower crown. We'll start with a demo, then you’ll design your own custom, wearable crown—whimsical, wild, classic or romantic—you choose your adventure! 

We provide everything you need; no prior experience necessary. This is a cozy, beginner-friendly space to play with gorgeous flowers, create beauty and community. Your flower crown will include fresh cut blooms and greenery. We’ll share tips on how to naturally preserve your crown, so you can wear your creation again and again.

Make the day even more memorable by adding a photoshoot with Jessica of Tiny Deer Studio!

You’ll leave the workshop with:

• A unique and whimsical handmade flower crown to wear or gift
• The skills to make more crowns at home
• A few new flower friends!
• An optional add-on photoshoot wearing your new creation!

Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to event to receive a full refund. If you are unable to attend after purchasing your ticket, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.

About the instructor

Kelly Rae is the owner and floral designer of Portland-based flower farmette and design studio, The Petal Dispatch. A former journalist, Kelly has always had an eye for design and detail, writing for fashion publications like FLAUNT and Lemonade Magazine. About the photographer 

Jessica is a multi-disciplinary artist and entrepreneur, and founder of Tiny Deer Studio and The Pin Department. When she's not behind the camera, she's designing accessories (like bolo ties!) and home decor. Her work is whimsical and vintage-inspired and can be found at gift shops across the country.
